My short story (story is complete)
I made this story at school and, yes, it is very sad, don't be surprised. The ending is very sweet. It was lengthened for the purpose of putting it on this forum board, but it still won't be more than a week for posting. Read, enjoy, and comment, if you will.
Part I
I looked out the window of the car. The scene was flying by my eyes. I couldn't believe it was finally happening. We were actually moving. I looked down at my phone, which had a picture of my girlfriend on the front. I was leaving her behind and I was being forced to. This unwilling move had ended our relationship, but I still loved her.
She had said, "I'm so sorry, Wolf, but it's too hard for me. I don't want to get hurt later on, so, please, don't make this any harder than it really has to be." Those were the last words I had ever heard from her, and they were the last ones I wanted to hear from her.
Now, I was looking out the window as my eyes overflowed with tears. This pain wasn't unfamiliar to me, but that didn't matter, it still hurt.
"There's no point in crying anymore. You should have done that seven years ago," my dad had told me. What did that mean? Was I supposed to stop you from marrying that witch? That little Queen who got everything she wanted, even if it meant blowing off your own kids? Pardon my language, but what the ****?!?
That was the end of the conversation, though. We were moving, and that was that. A new town, a new school, a new set of friends, but no life to speak of. I was officially, royally screwed.
I looked ahead to see the town ahead of us. It was really ending here. It was really over for me. That just left the question: Death by grief? Or suicide?
To Be Continued...

I will be back tonight for Part II. You will most likely cry on Part III, I'll warn you.

Stories where I cry make me feel un-manly. But I need to cry every once in a while or else it turns to sheer anger.

That's nice, Steel. Well, this will take away your anger if you get to know the character enough.
Part II
That was one of the last times I had seen her. I didn't forget her, but we weren't talking as often as we used to. I wasn't ready to give up, but she gave up a long time ago. I just had to deal with it. Sad as it was, I was living through the pain, but to little surprise the anger was welling up inside me.
At this point, I had settled in and made a small group of friends, but I wasn't willing to get close to them. Close friends mean betrayal; betrayal meant pain; pain meant death. I just couldn't risk it anymore. I was bordering on emo as it was, I didn't need to push that limit. Believe it or not, even I don't want to die so young. That was all in the past, though.
Now, I had a school, a clique, and teachers I could talk to sometimes. It was enough to get by, or so I thought. I didn't expect to have to deal with tomorrow so roughly. Tomorrow was Valentine's day. Ouch.
I thought about it, and the first thing that came to mind was: Why couldn't we just make it to Valentine's Day? Why did it have to end so soon?
A painful thought, yes, but I couldn't feel that way today. I couldn't afford to feel that way.
In this school, however, they were playing a nasty trick on my heart. They were giving Valentine's in the middle of class. It wasn't bad enough that this day makes me sad? Apparently not.

Re: My short story (story is complete)
Sorry, I've been tied up with stuff and football, but now I'm back... I think.
Part III
It wasn't bad enough, they had to put the decorations up and pass around gifts. I wouldn't be here if someone had warned me this was going to happen. But just as well, I had to deal with it. It infuriated me that so many people were just passing around these pointless gifts so meaninglessly. It was as if this very gesture itself was completely silent and simple.
I couldn't stand it much longer, but just as well, I sat at my desk, looking around and the decorations on every desk but mine. I started to go to sleep to drone out the class, but it wasn't enough, as someone yelled out, "Looks like somebody's got a girlfriend."
That was enough to make me look up. The gift was being carried in the classroom by a member of FCCLA and it was going to Chris, who had no gifts until he got that one.
Seeing this spectacle, I couldn't help but say the one thing on my mind. I said, "Oh, yeah. Good for him. We'll see how well that one turns out." It wasn't one of the nicest things I could say, but all this crap was so painful and I couldn't suppress that feeling forever.
"Who pulled your chain, Wolf?" It came from Kevin, the loud mouth who had said it in the first place. "I'll bet you don't even have a girlfriend."
Now, I had put up with a lot of these jokes before, but now, it was a direct insult, and after what had already happened that day, I just couldn't bear it anymore.
I stood up like a whip and lashed out with the first few words I could think of: "SHUT UP, FRESHMAN!!!" Not the most powerful thing to say, but it got the point across.
"Woah," he said, "chill out, man; it was just a joke." If I had stopped there, maybe things could've been different, but I don't know if I really wanted it to be any different. I was angry and I still stand by my dicision.
As things happened, I took my next move: I got up on the desk by the window and shouted, "You don't even know what you're talking about..." but that was as far as I got before it happened.
I lost my balance and slipped. I fell backwards, hearing the long chorus of shrieks as what was going to happen unfolded before them, each one, powerless to stop it. I hit the desk with my feet and I hit my back on the window sill. It was just my luck, and the momentum kept me going, blood running down my back. I waited, for indeed that was all I could do, now that I was in the air...
To Be Concluded!!!
I bet you wanna see that final part, now. Bwahahaha!

Well, cool as it may be, prepare to wait. I'm a master of suspense and I love drawing it out.

I assume you are. Does your school have FRESHMAN FRIDAYS? Because I'd totally move there if you did.

Maybe he's a... no wait. Ozzy can't be a Sophomore. That doesn't make any sense. Yayz! I'm the oldest here! Also, I'm a Junior, and at our school, there are no Freshmenz. We only have S'mores and Upperclassmen. I win this round weaklings. Yayz!

No, but I live in one of the most populated cities in the state. We don't have a "rich" town here.

Lucky. I hate being stereotyped as a rich snob. I LIVE IN THE POOR SECTION OF TOWN (Which is really upper middle class...).

I'm poor in itself. My newest game system is a PS2 from back when we were still well-to-do. Stupid ARF economy.
